We are cleaning out my Dad's house in Florida this week- spreading his belongings out between us and releasing them into the world. It's a strange thing the way our possessions carry our energy, especially our clothes, and it feels like a betrayal in some way to treat them with anything less than enormous respect.
I honor my father in the way I dispose of his things.
