"Death may be the greatest of all human blessings."
~ Socrates ~
Why are we so terrified of death? And rather than face our fear and learn from it, why do we turn the other way instead, and pretend that it won't happen and it's not coming?
Perhaps we would be better served to look at it head-on and contemplate its reality: what we know, and what we can't know. Perhaps the best thing we can do with death is to make peace with it before it makes peace with us.
I accept death as it is and stop thinking I can somehow avoid it.
