MAYBE NOTHING IS WRONG

"I am iron resisting the most enormous magnet there is."
~ Rumi ~

All our antennae go up when we sense that something is wrong. We go to our default positions and coping mechanisms. We get defensive. We blame others, We retreat.
But if nothing's really wrong, then there's nothing to defend, and we don't have to trail around old unfinished business from the past. We can be fresh and clear and responsive in the moment instead of telling ourselves stale stories from what happened long ago.

I open to the possibility that nothing needs fixing and all is well.
