MOVING FORTH

To get to wherever we're going, we often have to make a number of false starts. But each one tilts us slightly towards our purpose and away from what holds us back. We bang up against closed doors and they bounce us off so that we discover new doors and new directions. And eventually, open space appears before us.
Moving towards goals needn't be frustrating. It is meant to be starts and stops and tries and fails and if not this then that. We are ever and always being steered towards what is best for us... if we are awake and aware, and if we are willing to let go of our preconceived ideas about the way things "ought" to be. There is no "ought" necessary. Life is an unfolding process, and not a demand.

I stop insisting that things be a certain way and let them be the way they are.
