It blocks me from love, and
From peace of mind.
It fills me with blame,
And shame.
Surrounds me with a shroud of
suspicion
and darkness.
No light gets in
Until grace allows it
And shifts me from
Resistance to
Appreciation.
When my ego takes the lead I pay a price.
