Emotions rise and fall and twist and detour and slam and burn and sizzle and fade.
The daily journey is a land mine of triggers and effort.
And all we can do
Is navigate consciously
And show up,
And breathe.
I am aware of and respect the undertow of daily emotions and don't get pulled into its grasp.
