"Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures."
~ H Jackson Brown Jr ~
Little cuts on our fingers are almost more uncomfortable than big cuts that we have to bandage and protect. They are too small to deserve much fuss, and yet they demand our attention with their stinging and barb.
And on the other side of the spectrum, it's often the smallest things that bring the greatest joy: a single singing bird, a blooming flower, and laughter at just the right moment. So let's appreciate the power of littleness today, and remember that life is painted with a very fine brush.
Details matter, and I make an effort to recognize and appreciate their worth.
