With a quick glance, it might seem that trees and bushes are dead in the winter, but closer study demonstrates that they clearly are not. Winter is the time of berries and bud preparation- the retreat and silent solace before the big burst of spring. Winter is vibrant with colors of its own, and subtleties that are easily missed by the careless gaze.
I see and experience the life that lives in winter.
