Small children, old people, the infirm-
we must afford them their dignity and not spill our concern all over them like a drowning pool;
for not one of us wants to be molly-coddled,
or treated like we are helpless or pitiable,
even though we may in fact be.
I grant special needs individuals the dignity and respect they deserve.
