Adopting a posture of service in our approach to life takes the ego out of the game and makes for a more enjoyable ride. Thinking about what we're going to get out of everything and what it all means to us is a much smaller and shallower world than wondering how we might be useful and what we can do to help.
I stop striving for personal achievement, and concentrate on making a difference instead.
