"An excuse is a skin of reason stuffed with a lie."
~Billy Sunday~
"Yes but" are two powerful words. They keep us from not changing what needs to be changed, not addressing what needs to be addressed, and not moving forth in the direction of our calling. They justify the status quo and excuse anything and everything. We weaken ourselves every time we use them.
Let's be straight up and say yes when we mean yes and no when we mean no. Let's not waffle and whine. Let's have the courage to choose what we choose without pretense, and with our full conviction.
I am brave and clear. I say what I mean politely and don't make excuses for myself or anyone else.
