APPRECIATION FOR WHAT IS

We are cavalier about the things we have- as if they are readily replaceable; almost flippant as we talk about a different house, a different job, a different relationship- or whatever it may be. We have a tendency to take what we have for granted, and erroneously think that it can be duplicated and improved without effort.
But we have worked all of our lives to be wherever we are, and it's worth appreciating being there, even if we have plans to eventually move on. Let's enjoy what we have while we have it, and realize that it is unique and special and beautiful in its own way, and in its own right, and for its own reasons.

I stop fooling myself about what could be, and appreciate exactly what I have.
