NO WHINING

We love to talk about bad things that have happened to us. Most of us thrive in the realm of poor me. We go on and on about this that happened and then that: what was said to us, what wrongs committed. We are righteous and indignant, full of exaggeration and disbelief.
And sometimes our stories are funny, especially if we have the ability to laugh at ourselves. But sometimes they are just a litany of negativity and we might do better if we simply kept our mouths shut.

I catch myself when I am on a whine-roll and stop the wheel. No one wants to hear me complain.
