BEING DIRECT

I challenge us all to be direct! Let's say what we mean and ask for what we want and stop going about these things sideways and backwards. We are tricky and try to get others to figure out what we want, or better yet, we steer them until they suggest it themselves, as if it's their idea! And then we pretend they are getting their way, when, in fact, we are getting ours.
But all these innuendos and manipulations and lack of clarity are frustrating at best, for both parties. It's so much easier and fresher and cleaner to simply be direct.

I catch myself trying to manipulate others into understanding what I am afraid to say, and simply say it. :)
