"Don't tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass."
~ Anton Chekhov ~
Words have power, and we use them recklessly. What we create in language becomes our experience. If we say over and over that we are stressed out, overwhelmed, crazy-busy, tired, or in a funk, that's what we get.
If we change our language, we can change the world. We can be excited, hopeful, blessed, and free; or thoughtfully considering our options, or taking our time. We can feel good, be grateful, love our routines, savor our meals, and live for the day.
Our words define us. Let's use them with care.
I respectfully honor the way that language creates my reality.
