I happen to believe that color and texture and art and design are a primal need. They certainly feel that way to me.
Considering art in any way as secondary or disposable is to do a great dis-service to the human spirit. It is essential and primary that we express ourselves creatively on the one hand, and appreciate and honor our aesthetic sensibilities on the other.
I recognize the value of artistic expression wherever it shows up in my life.
